Right of withdrawal

The Customer can exercise the right of withdrawal in compliance with Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 (Consumer Code), as amended by Legislative Decree no. 209/2025 (implementing EU Directive 2023/2673), by returning the purchased product to request its replacement or a refund. The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to natural persons acting for purposes unrelated to their professional activity; therefore, purchases made with a VAT number by resellers and companies are excluded.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal and Digital Function

In accordance with current legal provisions (Art. 54-bis of the Consumer Code), the Customer can exercise the right of withdrawal at any time, even before receiving the goods or when the order has not yet been fulfilled, as soon as the contract is concluded online.

The right of withdrawal can be exercised within the commercial term of 30 days (extended compared to the 14 days required by law) from the date of delivery of the goods, or from the conclusion of the contract for goods not yet shipped, through the following methods:

• Immediate Online Procedure (Digital Withdrawal Function): By using the digital function always active and easily accessible within the website interface. Simply click on the mandatory link "withdraw from contract here" permanently available in the footer of any page on this website, in your personal account area (order section), or inside the order confirmation email. This option is available to all customers (including guest buyers, without requiring a login) by simply entering the order number and email address to access the item selection. Once the form is completed, simply click on the "Confirm withdrawal" button. The Customer will immediately receive a confirmation receipt via email on a durable medium, indicating the exact date and time of the submission. This method is also valid for blocking orders that have not yet been fulfilled.
• Alternative Methods: By sending a written communication by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt (A/R) to the address: Grimandi Calzature snc - Via Roma 1 - 40052 Baricella (BO) Italy; or via e-mail to info@grimandicalzature.it or by filling out and submitting the online form available at the following Link.

Necessary conditions for returning goods

The right of withdrawal is subject to the following operational conditions:

1. The purchased items must be returned intact, clean, undamaged, and without signs of outdoor wear (normal indoor try-on to verify the size is always permitted), in their original packaging, complete with all components (including inner packaging, documentation, or any accessories).
2. The original box is an integral part of the product: to prevent damage, it is mandatory to place it inside a second protective shipping box. It is strictly forbidden to apply labels or adhesive tape directly onto the original brand packaging.
3. Return costs:
   • Shipments in Italy: We offer a pickup service via BRT courier. This service is completely free of charge exclusively for the first "Size Exchange". For definitive returns, or if the requested size for the exchange is unavailable, the cost of the pickup and document handling service is Euro 6.90, which will be deducted from the refund to cover the direct costs of returning the goods (Art. 57 Consumer Code).
   • International Shipments (EU and Non-EU): Returns are entirely at the customer's expense, and the customer must autonomously arrange return shipping back to our warehouse. For returns originating from Non-EU Countries (e.g., United States, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, etc.), the customer is strictly required to declare on the customs shipping documents the declaration "RETURNED GOODS - MERCE IN RESO". Any customs duties, import taxes, or clearance handling fees charged to Grimandi Calzature by Italian customs authorities upon the re-entry of the parcel into Italy, together with the original shipping costs incurred for delivery, will be fully deducted from the customer's final refund.
4. Returns sent autonomously by the customer via Cash on Delivery (COD) or freight collect will not be accepted.
5. Products must be shipped back or ready for pickup within 30 days from the date the withdrawal declaration was submitted.

Non-Delivery, Refusal, and Storage Fees

The consumer is free to withdraw even before the delivery of the goods through the methods indicated above. If the Customer refuses delivery of the package or fails to collect it from the pickup point (e.g., Fermo Point) without having previously sent any formal notice of withdrawal, the order will still be returned to our warehouses. In this specific event, the actual and documentable costs incurred for return logistics and storage, quantified at a flat rate of Euro 12.80 for shipments within Italy (or the actual costs incurred for international shipments), will be deducted from the refund.

Methods and timing of reimbursement

In accordance with Art. 56 of the Consumer Code, once the notice of withdrawal is received, we will process the refund within 14 days. For domestic orders (Italy), the refunded amount will include the price of the product and the standard outbound shipping costs (only supplements for additional services chosen by the customer, such as Cash on Delivery, are excluded). For international orders, the original shipping costs paid for delivery will remain at the customer's expense and will be deducted from the final refund. The refund can be legitimately suspended until the goods are received or until the consumer demonstrates that the goods have been sent back.

The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Customer for the initial transaction (Bank Transfer, PayPal, or Credit Card). The Customer is solely responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods themselves.

Returns and size exchanges

We manage both definitive withdrawals and size exchanges with flexibility. Customers who wish to replace the size of the received product for free (subject to availability in Italy) or return it definitively can follow the step-by-step procedure called "Easy return in three simple steps". Please note that free return logistics apply only to the first size exchange per order and are limited to shipments within Italy.
